What began in 2007 as a small-scale effort of about 10 volunteers, has evolved into a sophisticated organization with a comprehensive range of services.
Misameach is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to lifting the spirits of children and adults who are hospitalized, bedridden, or have physical disabilities.
Our Family Center offers a variety of community services to adults, teenagers and children. The facility is open and available to the community at no cost and without restriction or discrimination.
We provide a safe haven for families to meet, relax, and recharge, amidst challenging circumstances, such as:

My kids enjoyed the experience so much! The moment they walked in their faces lit up and they kept going from one exciting thing to the next. They could not get enough! The 2 volunteers were fantastic!
After the volunteers left, my father said, 'That was beautiful. It added 10 years to my life!'

A lively musical crew was sent to bring a smile to my father who is homebound and limited due to his illness. His face lit up and his mood greatly improved and he was even humming after being uplifted by the musical performance.
